Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
I use Google Analytics because I want to know how many people are looking at my website and how you found it. If I write a blog and share it on my social media, I enjoy seeing a big spike in my hits! It also helps me learn what you are most interested in so that I can tell you more about that kind of thing.
Google Analytics doesn’t store any really personal data about you though. All I see is that a person or many people have interacted with the website in a particular way.
In case you are worried about this, here’s their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/
